Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) is giving Chance to all the students of Final year students of B.tech/B.tech(Ag)/B.Pharm/BFAD/BHMCT. The Special Carry Over will be Scheduled in the month of August 2014. All 4th Year Students of UPTU Enrolled in B.tech/B.tech(Ag)/B.Pharm/BFAD/BHMCT Courses. The special carry over exams is conducted only for Final year students. The special Carry Over Forms are now also available in all the affiliated colleges. The Special carry Over Forms for Final year students should be submitted to the University office on or before 5th august 2014. The Cost of the Special Carry Over Form is Rs500/- Only. The Special carry Over Exam schedule/Datesheet will be announced soon but probably the Exam will start from 11th August as given in Academic calender. Yes, Both GBTU & MTU students are eligible for the Special carry over exam.
Only Students who have the Fail or PCP status on their result are eligible to sit in the Special carry Over exam which is to be held in August 2014. A Mercy Exam was to be held in august for the passout students also. Only students of 4th year who are in 7th or 8th sem of B.Tech & Final year of MCA as well as B.Arch. are eligible for exam.
For Scrutiny, students students can also fill the forms which will be available in the college along with the carry over forms. which cost Rs 500/- for Scrutiny but in scrutiny only totaling of the marks are done. & The Money will not be refunded if the No./Marks not increased or in any case.Students can also apply for the Challenging Scrutiny which cost Rs 5000/- Only if you are confident about your copy and if your no./Marks increases the total money will be refunded. If the marks not increased the money will not be refunded.

Well may be or may not be, I’m saying this because special carry over is only conducted for 1st year students i.e for 1st & 2nd sem exams. but in some rare cases special carry over is conducted for rest of the semesters. if something like strike happens at UPTU. But last year UPTU said that we will not conduct any special carry over exams from next time. But who knows anything can happen. it’s “UPTU”
